Length of the route: 31km (52km)

Course of the route: Starting the trip at the Czech Railways building in Kořenov, you ride downhill to the left following cycle route no. 22. On the right a blue cycle route appears which you take, and soon turn to the left for Martinské valley. There you fork to the left for the green cycle route for Jizerka. Along the Jizera river and Bukovec hill, you reach the hamlet of Jizerka.

A – The shorter way follows route 22 back to Horní Polubný, then take the red route via Tesařov, Hvězda hill with the Štěpánka viewing tower and the crossroads with the Na Perlíčku pub, where you turn to the left, and after 1 km reach the Bosna crossroads, offering a pleasant view. Turn right down the hill on the blue cycle route for Paseky nad Jizerou, offering the Krkonoše museum and the Baroque church of St Wenceslas. There you follow the blue route which ends up at the crossroads in Paseky under the ski lifts. There you turn right onto route 4170 for 300 metres and turn left for route 22, called Planýrka, along the Jizera river to the bridge at the Mýto crossroads (the cyclo-bus departs at 16.35; 31 km).

B – The more demanding way takes you from Jizerka on route 22 toward Smědava to the crossroads with the red route, with refreshments in Smědava being approx. 1 km away on route 22. You follow the red route to the left, called Knížecí, to reach the roadway from Jizerka to Horní Polubný. There you turn to the right and down the hill, see alternative A above. (52 km)
